Halfords will buy Car Upholstery and Accessories Canada from Cabela’s in Canada.

The chain announced the deal Thursday on its website.

The Canadian Tire Group Inc., which owns CarUphos, plans to acquire the chain from the Canadian Tire Holding Corp. of Canada, the chain said in a statement.

Halfords plans to buy the Canadian-owned chain from CBA in a transaction that includes the chain’s brands as well as CarUphodes.

The company plans to focus on its core brands and services, including the CarUpheys, Halfords CarUpmarket, CarUprest, CarLuxury, CarCentre, CarGift, CarShop, CarBath, CarPets, CarCare and CarCare Express.

The deal marks the latest in a series of acquisitions by the chain in recent years.

In December, the company said it would invest $1.5 billion in Canada, including expanding into retail and restaurants.
